These days it’s my pastime to think and connect the sarees with interesting stories 😉
Few of the sarees naturally get connected to theme, memory, mood…few I create and few pops out spontaneously.
This is a classic example of a spontaneous saree story 😉

I wore this in office few weeks back and was hosting a press conference for a food festival.
‘Poo’ was invited as a guest and obviously she carried her camera for her food assignment.

While discussing food, colour, ingredients, unknowingly my discussion shifted towards saree, accessories, sareepact…. resulting an instant shoot.
Within few moments I became the subject and Poo my shutter- bug for 33/100 day!!!

33/100 is a light silk saree, an unusual combination of brown-light pink & white. The abstract design plays the unique character for this particular piece. This was a gift; unexpected, and I accepted the same with spontaneity.
While drafting this story now, I just got a word for this special saree, this is a spontaneous saree, which is always ready to be draped/ accepted/ shot… 🙂 (Literally, the silk quality is such that one can actually wear this very quickly and the drapes fall naturally)
However, the best thing which I personally liked seeing these images are the uncommon pairing of the blouse and the saree. Trust me my friends this was a spontaneous selection too 😉

Thanks Poo for capturing these wonderful moments for my #100sareepact.
Would be a great pleasure to shoot in future as well… 🙂
