She invited a bunch of us for lunch yesterday. It was such a happy moment to find our dear host draped in this beautiful saree and I anyway, got the second opportunity this week and unfolded one of my sixteen years old sarees.

So, we two posed for the pact.

Hers is a tassar block print saree with benarasi border.

Mine is some kind of silk saree, which I had purchased along with my wedding saree. Just could not leave this piece behind on that particular day. I ended up spending one month’s saving from my salary to own it, did feel guilty for few days then.

By now, you all know from my earlier stories that I have never succeeded to pick only one saree from a shop smile emoticon

Guilty feeling was because, we were entering into a new phase of our life and might be that money could have been used for another more useful purpose. Now when I look back, it feels ‘(shopping) job well-done’. I did not have plastic money then, budget was fixed for the wedding saree. I managed to treat myself with two sarees within the budget.

In our life, every moment has many colorful (or meaningful) threads (or emotions) woven into it. Let’s all try to unfold them now 🙂
