Six yards of organza nothingness with dull zari thread squares each centred with a tiny mirror, and a pencil-lead grey shadow demarcating the hot pink border from the nothingness. Gifted by an old neighbour-friend Gowri in Bombay. Hadn’t worn it for at least 20 years. No exaggeration. Pulled it out this morning for a lunch get-together with childhood friends smile emoticon
Thanks to Ally and Anju, all my old beauties are making a come-back. Hot pink with silver sprinkles tee shirt went well with it. Earrings – pure silver handpainted Mughal miniature Bramha with uncut garnets, from Jaipur.
