a day filled with a lot of enthusiam n fun..i guess d rains are beginning to wash off my typical rain-special gloomy mood..was in a chirpy mood today..i wore to work this cherry red cotton handloom saree to brave d rains today..teamed it with a pen kalamkari blouse from Haate Naate, a pair of pure silver jhumkas n a big red bindi..

Today more than the saree, the earrings were special..they are my mother’s Aparna Bose..it was a wedding gift she got from her friend’s mom..pure silver filigree jhumkas…ooooh do i lovvvve jhumkas..i agree they were a bit large..yet i did try to b a bit bold..wearing it at 8am in d morning for an exam invigilation duty!?..n it paid off…coz it was well appreciated by all in college..thnx everyone!

After 3hrs of losing temper with examinees cheating like hell n yet enduring them, some sort of refreshmemt was absolutely necessary.. n we knew it was time for our long overdue ‘chop party’..so we, a group of 11 young, over zealous n hungry teachers started our journey..yes..a walk or more precisely wading across the waterlogged college ground towards Buddhi Da’s canteen..where we were treated to delicious, hot, ‘fresh from d frying pan’ chicken chops by dear friend Amit Tribedi..our smiling/laughing faces bear testimony to d fact dat we had a gala time!

The day at work ended with our last photo being clicked in front of d construction site for our new college building..hope to see it soon n fast!
