Yes that one other Designer Saree I possess. A salmon pink Satya Paul ( hmmm Salmon and Seattle , yes!!!) with geometrical patterns woven with pale gold Zari was part of my mother’s gift to me on my 60th a few years ago . A very unusual Satya Paul actually . And the Georgette is light and falls and drapes well . One of my favourite sarees and last evening , all gold and green and blue and a perfect summer gem of an evening when Tracey Higgins was having her #ChaiforCancer Adda seemed to be the best setting for this one . Thank you Pat Garcia-Gonzalez , Bob Farmer and Karen for being the Pact Photographers
An evening that saw this wonderful neighbourhood in Edmonds come together and raise their cups for cancer care . The host herself resplendent in another pink and purple georgette that it looked she was born wearing it , so elegant she looked and carried the drape so effortlessly and the guests and my Max colleagues and the youngsters playing such wonderful music ( thank you , young Liam for that picture and here’s a salute to our common favourite , Eddie Vedder !!) ….
I dedicate this Saree story to Tracey Higgins and to Bob Farmer who are both on the Board of The Max Foundation and who bring with them their positive energies and unwavering support . Thank you Tracey for embracing the concept of #ChaiforCancer and for draping the Saree and gracing the Pact!!
Bob , a Leukaemia and Bone Marrow Transplant survivor who has since given all of his time and energies to be our friend and volunteer par excellence !!! How awesome to be able to be with you.
Nerissa Teichroew how wonderful to meet you again and what an inspiration you are .
