#100sareepact Saree # 36

“I love sarees. I love how a saree flows. How it shapes and how it caresses. I also love how a person can define themselves in it. You make a saree into what it is. the most beautiful saree in the hands of an unskilled person is useless. Likewise, the prettiest woman may wear the prettiest saree and still be ugly. It’s what inside that matters”
A passage from Su Dharmapala’s ‘Saree’, more or less sums up my thoughts as well. The book’s my current read, a birthday gift from my dear friends.

Continuing my saree saga, in my only bottle green cotton, again a birthday gift from the very thoughtful Arthi Anand, who felt I am partial to warm colours and wanted to me to wear something different for a change 🙂 A sunday movie date with the kids and Nag and out came this saree.

Pictures by Nag, after a long time.
