Last day of this academic year…..mixed feelings today…..will miss my dear students and lovely colleagues……will not have to wake up at 5 am…a day of meetings, lunch and until we meet agains….
Could not think of anything better than this South Cotton in bottle green and gold….a purchase from Kalyan Silks, Trichur when I went for a conference organized by CPracsis. My aunts, Raji and Girija, too loved the saree. The beauty of the saree lies in the tiny checks in gold thread, which complement my small frame. The gold border is adorned with shiny gold peacocks that give the saree a traditional appearance.
The blouse, again my own creation, is a putting together of two pieces of cotton silk fabric from Sunita Matching.
I am wearing with it small cute gold jhumkas and a tushi picked up from Kolhapur, outside the Mahalaxmi temple, a couple of years ago when I had been for a Seminar.
