Day 6

#100sareepact

Linen was never my cup of tea until I realised how easy to handle it was; fall & its comfort level. Finally a yellow linen was weaved but unfortunately during shipping it got damaged. So was very upset. But every drape had loads of values for me. I could not think of anything when as usual my saviour in any problem my dad Rn Bhattacharya came to my rescue. He got it darned. When he handed the saree to me I couldn’t search for the darned part & I fell in love with the saree. Though this saree had a blouse of its own. I was highly inspired by my diva friend Himeli Dey beautiful blouse. So decided to experiment with the same. I had accompanied parents to Nalli Chennai for shopping when this red printed blouse caught my attention & it was perfect look for saraswati puja.

The neck piece was designed by Ashirbani Roy Mukherjee from Aashir’s. Tnx dear for this lovely piece. Inviting my beautiful friends Avradita Chakravarty; Nandini Chakravarty; to join the pact & experience this beautiful journey with Ally Matthan & Anju Maudgal Kadam
