9/ #100sareepact

I admit I have hated this Saree, I have tried everything to make it look bearable to me and guess I have, quite reluctantly, moved a few steps. All the effort coz it costed me a fortune. An online purchase that went very sour.
Another ‪#‎satyapaul‬ which I thought (from the picture displayed) was a lemon yellow saree, but turned out to be a chrome and dirty cadmium mix with dirty green, a cool blue and my not at all favourite colour black “dhabbas” (pardon me) on it. Bizarre it looked. For days my heart ached and I tried amends like laces and sequins and embellishing it as well.
It’s been with me for three years now and everytime I would only look at it and wonder, if I were to wear it only for the heck of being able to do justice to the money I spent on it, where would that be. Thankfully, a party, theme “Basant” and I look at it and think Voila!!
Teamed it up with a black top and “Gainda phool” maala to go with the theme! Wasn’t that bad but one of those very first times with a saree when I wasn’t quite feeling on top of the world!
