I love working with kids. They make you look at everything from a new angle, with a freshness and innocence that is so difficult to find these days. I am currently running a food workshop for kids and we have all turned into foods. For this week we aren’t Mahika, Sarabjeet, Rian, Daksh (and so on). We are muffin, soup, roasted, duck (and more). I have for a change embraced summer and turned into Mango for this week.. Decided to dress up as one too wink emoticon
Another first, running a cooking worshop for kids in a saree, I hope it stays put till the end of the workshop tongue emoticon
Also wishing everyone a happy New Year. Wishes for Baishaki, Vishu, Bihu, Shubho Noboborsho, Tamil new year depending on what you call it. May the new year bring happiness, joy and everything else you desire. As I type this I also realise how perfect is this saree for Baishaki. Yellow in Punjab stands for prosperity, for the mustard flowers, for the wish and prayer of a better crop for the coming year
PS : saree and blouse both ByLoom. The softest cotton ever.
