Plain georgettes, chiffons, crepes seem to be my favorite…I get to design the blouses which I love doing .After designing blouses for hundreds of clients for the last 16 years I have given it all up and shifted focus of my creative energy to designing tribal jewelry now. This is one of the blouses that I embroidered myself and thankfully has a margin of a good 3 inches (;-) ) so I can wear it for years to come .
Today I am wearing this georgette fabric converted into a saree again something I picked up from Chandni Chowk , delhi. The saree is a good 6 metres as I drape it pinned up and I like my pallav to be long I prefer to drape the whole 6 metres. The blouse is designed with hundreds of tiny mirrors embroidered in shades of ivory ,cream and greens with tiny cream beads surrounding the mirrors.
Jewelry ofcourse is Nnazaquat a spiked oxidized necklace with a bunch of oxidized bangles.
