Reached my first double digit. Have been waiting to drape this saree. It is special for two reasons, first saree purchase by me and the husband and secondly the saree was purchased in celebration of our 10th marriage anniversary. It is a rich dark brown saree with a big mango border and grand pallu. The saree itself is very light and easy to drape. I remember, it was love at first sight(the saree I mean!). I remember buying it in a small town enroute to a Tirukadayur for my father-in-laws 60th bday celebrations.Jayanthi Vivekananddd akka remember the kotthu parotta we had? And I know you rock a similar saree!

So, today, we were all set to go to a temple just so I could drape such a grand saree when hubby got a work call. I ended up making dinner for the kids as if I was dressed up for a wedding! I wrote today’s poem after the temple fiasco

Awash with color, the color of love
All dressed up for a date, my date with the stove!
I reckon it’s okay, cause with the #100sareepact, I am hand in glove
Frequently joining the bevy of beauties, all – a cut above !
