Another new saree 🙂 🙂 I fell for the tribal print in this off-white cotton designer saree. The African tribals reminded me of my trips to Tunisia, nestled away in North Africa, long before the Jasmine revolution made it a drawing room conversion subject. I used to love walking through the various souks, or local markets, checking out the handicrafts on offer, many of which had masks or figurines in this very same design and vibrant colors.

This saree has another unique feature, with the dash of yellow, added by the designer team for the front between the pleats and pallu, similar to the sunshine that is splashed across all of Africa.

So here comes #70, a special one, accessorized with a multi colored beaded neck piece and white ceramic earrings from Columbus, with the “C” print in varied colors. A little OTT perhaps, but the earrings were a gift from 18 years back of some of the best days in my life spent in Columbus, and I simply had to wear them today for a trip down memory lane 🙂
