This is an incredibly satiny smooth Poona cotton I picked up from OMO in Bandra . The simple and bright white with the basic red and green and yellow simply begged to be bought and when I see something like this I’m lost . I surrender .
Been with me for a while but I wore it yesterday for the first time . A patient support group for patients diagnosed with a rare cancer called GIST . This is the sixth city in which we are bringing these patients together so that they can share and learn from each other how to cope and live with this disease . It may be a rare cancer but for the patients and the families impacted it is very real and right there in their faces .
Meetings like these provide a platform to share and learn like I said before but also allows for expression and understanding and improved coping skills .
People came from the interiors and participated wholeheartedly. The effect of Drama Therapy workshop , something I conduct all the time , never fails to surprise me . Putting aside shyness , fear and any kind of hesitance the group comes together as one and works together in dispelling myths and encouraging compliance . Under the watchful eye of that great actor son of the state NTR whose cut out as you can see became my Saree Pact prop!!!!!
