A unique saree i had bought from Haate Naate..after a long day at work i was so dead tired that i had to almost drag myself to my wardrobe n pick a saree to wear..

When u r not in the right mood u will often find yourself complaining how u have got nothing to wear, whereas in reality ur almirah is overflowing with an endless stock of sarees..n it happens d other way round too..that is, u may have that one saree wich u bought so enthusistically n yet after d buy u just can’t find d right occasion to wear it..

Yesterday evening for me was one such moody time n none of d sarees seemed suited for d dinner invite..since it was late evening i wouldn’t wear anything too simple or traditional but again i didn’t want to go overboard wid either the colour or d fabric..n then it happened!! ..the evening asked dis saree out n d saree obliged..n out came this unique pick..its a raw silk crepe saree..half in pure white n half in bright green..the speciality of d saree however is d Hakoba pallu..the entire pallu is lace-like with eyelet stitching done in a combination of green n white..paired it with a boat-neck white raw silk crepe blouse with hakoba sleeves same as d pallu..i didn’t want to spoil d beauty of d saree n so went with minimum make up n just a pair of pearl n gold ball earrings..n i must say d hakoba work on d pallu n blouse sleeves earned a lot of attention n appreciation ..i was glad even after dat looong n seemingly endless day..to have worn d right saree at the right place at the right time!
