#87 Few sarees don’t have stories, they have emotions attached to it. This is one such saree. It came to me as a gift in “Sinjara” for Karvachauth after my roka….the most beautiful period between enagement and marriage.
My in-laws sent this saree along with one more saree, some jewellery and sweets. This came with lot of love, blessings and sentiments. As I was the first bahu in there family so everyone was super excited.
My sister-in-law and her family came down to my parents house with all the gifts. There were lot of prepartions done for their swagat satkaar.
I am not sure about the weave of this saree and from which state it comes. It has buti’s like Paithani, border like Ikat…it’s woven of very fine silk and has a beautiful colour combination! It was an expensive saree and was bought from Kala Niketan.
