57/100 #100sareepact #PujoSaree piece is another exhibition purchase of recent past.
The designer Nilesh Jain is from Mumbai, and he was in the City of Joy for his show at #FirangiDesi. Diya is also into this pact thus we immediately connected!
The collection was wonderful with riots of colours! The combination, design, ideas were fascinating.
Though am not too fond of Fusion Food, but this Fusion series is surely an exception.…..”My daughter was painting with these bright colours which lit a creative thought in me…”
Yes indeed the saree is a colourful drama where South India meets East India; the pleats have south versions- two colour ikkats , the chest has block printed cotton and the pallu is Odisha sambhal puri ikkat!!

57/100 moment was sad,it was the Bijoyadashami day. To counter the sadness in air, I wore this colourful piece. My make-up was minimal! Since the saree had so much to portray,no additional colour was required. But yes I should mention my neck-piece. This beautiful B’day gift from Suzi added that extra story to this Bijaya look…. 😉

Dear Nilesh, please note, this saree coincidentally connected a nostalgic link to my Bong mind!
This is my first ever photograph with Goddess Durga in a single frame, on the immersion day like this.
The moment turned out to be one of the most favourite days of my life till date.
It was a feeling of mixed reactions; sad since Puja ended, but with a ray of hope inside, SHE will come back with her blessings for a new beginning……
Dear Photographer, thanks a ton for these wonderful images….’Joy’ !!!! Aashchhe Bochhor Abaar Hobe!!! Bolo Bolo Dugga Mai Ki…… ‘Joyyyy’…….!!!!
