‪#‎100sareepact‬

This black cotton Maheshwari with a rather simple but actually dekha jaaye to Dramatic blue and red border and an even more dramatic Pallu was made for the night but would never have seen the light of day in the Pact as Saree #107 so soon if not for young Vicky insisting I join him and his lovely wife Prisha for a night out in Hyderabad. Tired and washed out with a lot of travel and non stop work over three weekends I did so want an early night but Vicky is not someone whose charms you can resist .
So young but so committed and focussed , hardworking Vicky , despite his demanding business schedule makes time to volunteer with us and to me is the role model for the youth today . Finds time for everything he takes up and does a great job . Like the Chai for Cancer Campaign he led in the city . And is the most devoted and caring Dad to his toddler son .

And once this soft Saree was draped it did kind of make you feel all ready for a well… A night out .
A Hyderabad night in October in my book beats all the other cities I’ve been in and out of these last few days . NOT humid ! Oh what a blessing . Clear skies so you can see the bright half moon above you and a lovely, cool breeze too .
And all this one enjoyed because the restaurant we went too was an open roof top one with great food ( and a neat LIT too which the bartender at first refused to serve with No Ice but later succumbed much against his wishes … LIT is ICE based Ma’am he wailed) and live music . From Oasis and Pink Floyd to Bee Gees to Kailash Kher , their singer was good !!

Of course I had to insist good pact pictures be taken so you have a few to look at .
