This year Puja days cheated all of us. With crazy ritual hours and lesser days of holidays most of us were sad. However, I eventually proved to be a typical Bong, when I gave a damn to the days and started my Puja celebration from Panchami. For the entire day I was with Shokhi, watching film in a crowded mall of the City of Joy or attending a cultural event in the evening.

52/100 is the first new #PujoSaree of 2015; one of my B/W series, a designer cotton saree from Qissa.
The wonderful piece is a simple cotton that looks classy and sophisticated. Black appliqué work in the body and border adds the contrasting note. The designer B/W checked full-sleeve blouse aptly complimented this elegant look. The white neck piece reached from Delhi,as a belated B’day gift by Pritha 😉
The typical round bindi, and a colourful patch worked cotton bag, added an extra touch to complete my first Puja look of Panchami….

To add, Shokhi was the person who took these snaps especially for my saree story.
52/100 moment will be remembered as ‘Rajkahini’ hours, which will be there with me & Shokhi forever….52/100 #100sareepact look, unconsciously became a bit of the reflection of the film we watched. .. the colour of freedom seems less(my patch work bag) compared to the B/W phases of struggle of partition. (colour combination of the saree).

It is a continuous struggle within, even today to adapt with the partition. So much hatred, misunderstandings, helplessness…
Hope the B/W series gets faded with upcoming positive colours of life.
