#78 It was Navratri 8th day puja. It’s a big day puja for Havan and Prasad. It’s known as Ashtami. All pandals are extremely crowded. It’s very hot and we are all sweating. But heat can’t stop us from dressing up as its festival time.Bhakti and I decided to go to Abhijit’s pandals for bhog today. We both are dress beautifully in our lovely sarees and went to pandal. There was kilometre long line for parking. We decided to walk little bit in our silk saree without any complain. Enthusiasm of being there in front of Goddess was so high that nothing can stop us. Every body was beautifully dressed and drenched. We did very good darshan of Maa and moment we turned back we bumped into Jyothi, our friend and a saree pacter. It was wonderful meeting her and we three went for bhog. It was delicious Bengali meal. I literally licked my plate. Ate till my satisfaction and felt very happy. We came out and saw our two more pacter friends. Now ke picture toh banta hai. So this is what we got clicked.
I am wearing my tussar silk saree in half parrot green in pleats and half beige and black on shoulder and Pallu. This is also from Kolkatta which I bought last year. Very elegant and rich saree and it suits many type of occasions. One of my favourite saree from my latest collection.
