It’s Bachbaras today. This is a unique festival observed in few parts of North India. It is observed four days after Janmashtami. The ritual is for the wellbeing of children. On this day usually women eat food made from millet. It is celebrated by worshipping cow and eating all the sprouts like moth, bajra, moong and chana.
