11.30 am: Vasansi, a saree store in Jaipur
I was barely 10 mins into the process of saree buying when I was shown this colourful and vibrant lehariya saree with gota work. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it.
But ———————-!
Me to myself: “ Pretty saree! And also has gota work on the border. Nice combination too. But then let me see few more. Ranjeeta told me Vasansi has good collection. I may get a nicer one. And besides its only been 10 mins! “
Me to the Salesperson: “ये साड़ी बाजू में रखेंगे.
Salesperson to Me: “ Madamji, ये बहुत अच्छी चीज़ है.
Me to the Salesperson: “ये बाजू में रखेंगे.
After sifting through 30 + more sarees and an hour and a half later:
Me to the Salesperson: “थॅंक्यू हं.
1.15 pm:
I walk out of Vasansi with this cheerful lehariya saree; happy and content, having feasted on colours, weaves and designs, and 6 yards of works of art called Sarees!

Familiar scene, ‪#‎Fellow100sareepacters‬? Yes, ofcourse!
