31/100
Finally crossed 30….meant the number of sarees, not my age… That was a while ago, age 30! 😉😈
A wonderful way to end a work week that was really tiring but rewarding.
Fragrance making workshop… My husband gave me a funny look when I told him where I will be Friday post lunch. He mentioned it takes years of practice and understanding to make perfume, which was reinforced bAlly Matthanan. I had fun making my own perfume and I am so thrilled by the outcome!!
I loved Areev, the smell about the place, Apoorva Sadanand ‘ s warmth and effervescence and Ally’ s amazing knowledge and her presentation. I learnt quite a bit and added something new to my GK.
Had to wear a saree to meet the initiator of the pact. A chiffon with super wild prints. I picked it up in my neighborhood store. The lady who runs it is my good friend now. We have nothing in common except our love for sarees. She is a Rajasthani lady with no English knowledge. I am a working person, with poor Hindi. But we manage with Kannada and some horrible Hindi from my side. 😀😀 She no longer runs the store, but we remain friends. She had kept this saree aside for me as soon as the shipment arrived and had sent it home. Amazing she knew exactly what I would like….. My mom, quips, “nalla piduchindirukka onna. Pidichallum Pidicha, puliyankombha pudicha” 😎😱
The earrings, gifted by a dear friend.
Still floating with all the smells of Areev….
