So continuing #100sareepact. this one is full of interesting stories.. today I wanted to just go easy and not wear a saree ..then I told myself ..saree is just as easy .. so here goes .. the story unfolds …

The best saree one could wear is the one swiped from mom. 🙂 Padmaja Pai , if you are missing a saree from your closet, guess what, it’s with me 🙂 but don’t worry , when I wear it, I feel like you, I look like you and I feel the saree feels to my boys and dogs, just the way it felt for pinky and I.. soft and comforting …

The necklace and ear rings are a gift from my dear friend B. Specially from chennai, it’s a perfect match for this saree and my personality …

We went to the most amazing anniversary party ever. I met Seema Shah and guess what .. her friend is one of the originators of the #100sareepact. . Small small world !

Finally, to bring the saree story to a finale, I heard a speech in Gujarati, by an amazing woman in a saree. I don’t know the language but could clearly understand every single word she said. Beautiful words filled with love and wisdom. Her love for her children and grandchildren was evident. There were many pearls of wisdom, bur to me the key takeaway from her was that “one can live anywhere, be of any faith, but the kids always learn what they see. Teach them to love and care for family by your actions. Be that person who imbibes the culture in your child, by reaching and caring more than simply teaching “
