We bengalis have a craze for script sarees ofcourse not in olden times. I guess this craze started off since 2000 or so. Now ofcourse this is quite a common print. You can say loveria laga with these script so much so that you will get the glimpses of these prints all over. The first time this idea triggered me many such blocks have been worked up. This is one favourite block cut out in sanskrit.

This time it was on my favourite Vishnupuri Silk saree with a mixture of hand block print. A silk which is 300 gms in weight light & with great fall. Usually weaved out in Bishnupur a district in West Bengal famous for the same. Love this silk the most I should say. What best an attire when you go out!!!

I matched it up with semiprecious stones string again from Narayana Pearls Chennai Anju Maudgal Kadam; Nandini Chakravarty; Ally Matthan; Sumita Ghosh; Sudeshna Chatterjee; Vidushi Sanguri; Mallika Sinha
