I have been intrigued by the pact and the number of ladies sharing stories of their beautiful sarees. As a saree lover from Sri Lanka I decided to join in though I’m already a few months late.

I’m starting off with one of my favourite office wear sarees that is 100% Sri Lankan – a cotton handloom block printed saree by the Battocaloa weavers of our eastern coast. Love the peacock motifs and the dainty silver on black.
