Day 3

#100sareepact

Pipli print has been an inate part of Bengal art forms since long being used a lot in last few years in many ways. It has been a part of my work too but in coloured form. Truthfully my dear friend Soumyasree Chakraborty has been the driving force behind this saree as her Pipli Print saree gave me the push to possess one of such sarees in my wardrobe. Though the coloured forms have been in fashion the black & white version caught my attention. Incorporated with my favourite red black combination this saree is one of the favourite Vishnupuri Silk saree so far in my wardrobe.

I must thank Roshni Banerjee of Gahonaz for the lovely neck piece she created for me which was a perfect match. My evening look was done!!
