Wearing this new saree that was gifted to me for the boys’ Upanayanam. No occasion other than I couldn’t wait for one! Mustard/yellow with purple! How can I not fall in love with this gorgeous combination?! There’s a mango connection to my family besides the colour and the fruit. My great-grandfather used to be a part of some king’s court. His love for mangoes, earned him the name “Maambazha shaastrigal” – literally meaning “Mango-pandit”  No surprise then that his great grand-daughter loves all shades of yellow!

HAD to click a picture with Kausalya, my God-sent angel, my Daai – since she is wearing the nose pin that I bought for her for the first time. She loved what I was wearing and gushed when she saw me wear it. Decided to surprise her with it, but since she was unwell for a few days, she didn’t wear it until last night. This morning as I went to have breakfast, she has this ear-to-ear grin as she said with glee that she’s wearing it finally.

Ally and Anju – can never thank you enough for this pact! Not just is my timeline and notification filled with colour, beauty and positivity, I am such a happier person since I joined the pact! Earlier, every night it would be “what should I wear tomorrow” – now it is “what saree should I wear tomorrow” – and boy am I happy or what? Sending both of love and hugs! Many many women and sarees and families are going to bless both of you.

The neck piece is from the now-famous Tibetan Aunty. God Bless her!
