Another of Di’s sarees, #68 is a lovely green silk shantiniketan with a pink border and pink and blue buttis. The green of this saree reminds me of the moss that grows during the monsoons. In my childhood days in Goa we used to play a lot outdoors, and the beautiful stone walls of the fences adjoining the Portuguese villas always had this lovely fresh green moss covering them in the monsoon season. This saree somehow manages to evoke those childhood memories, and brings a glow to my face.

Accessorised today with a glass neckpiece and earrings in pink, blue and purple. I realized today that I don’t have matching accessories in deep pink….hmm…
