It’s my 2016 #100sareepact
” Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all,
And sweetest in the gale is heard;
And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird
That kept so many warm.
I’ve heard it in the chillest land,
And on the strangest sea;
Yet never, in extremity,
It asked a crumb of me.”
A few days back when I happened to read this poem by chance while surfing through,it came across a gentle breeze which refilled my senses with positivity again.Yes,I mean to say again.We all need to pump up positivity again and again during the length of our life.There are good days and bad days.The good days add on a zest to our levels of confidence,move around with extra poise and flaunt every bit of it.It’s the time when you brim with confidence,zeal and fervour in every step.While the bad days pull you down,makes you feel gloomy and is the biggest culprit in acheving in our goals.At that point of time ,we need to fill our mind,our hearts with this optimistic attitude and then expect a positive outcome in every effort,every step,every move.
I had joined the #100saree pact in 2015 with a loads of enthusiasm because I love sarees a lot since childhood.Though the challenge wasn’t so huge yet the happenings,the phases,the cramps,the pain, added a great deal and couldn’t sail smoothly.
And then came 2016…..!!! With lots of hope and positivity,ofcourse.On the eve of 31st dec’15,I had decided to be strong,positive,calm and composed,giving, forgiving,sharing and with a doubt wearing more and more sarees.With God’s grace,It so happened,too.Obviously,I wore a few sarees starting Jan but couldn’t click and post.While I wasn’t draping much, I was shopping various weaves or patterns.
So,here I am,back to join you all pacters,starting afresh as a pact for 100 sarees and a pact within myself,to be hopeful,positive and confidently walk across each path.It’s “Chin-Up” time.
Draped in my summery-peachy-chiffon with a thin zari border on my visit to a friend’s house with minimal accessories and a “priceless” smile.A smile is every woman’s most beautiful adornment.
