She bolted out of the car to greet me, this morning, in a saree of her very own. A hug and we were off, with her mother and my friend Neha, to the Pinkathon promo run in ethnic wear.
On the way I was regaled with stories of a trek in the snow that she took over her December holidays.
The run began as soon as we reached Cubbon Park, and Anahita enthusiastically joined the runners.
She completed almost 5K very easily and has already signed up for the Pinkathon on 31st of January.
Go Anahita !
On our way out of the park, a policeman stopped us to say hello to the young lady.
As we sat in the car to return home, little Anahita announced that today was her first saree on the ‪#‎100sareepact‬, before going on to tell me all about the school play she was playing the part of a spy in.
She has promised to write her first post on the blog.
Join me in welcoming this delightful child on our pact.
