29/100 – These are my girls. (Save for one who now lives on another continent and therefore couldn’t make it). These are the girls with whom I grew up, went to school with, gossiped about boys in class with and mooned over movie stars with. These girls have shared my ups and downs, have seen me at my best – and worst. These girls still laugh at my silly jokes, pick me up when I’m down and never ever judge. With them, I have always been able to just be me, and have never felt the need to pretend.

Many of our school friends went their separate ways when we grew up. But we lot somehow stuck together. It’s hard to believe that we already share a friendship of nearly two decades and that we still call each other first in moments of joy or crisis. Each time we meet, as we did at the wedding of our dear friend recently, we revert back to the good old days. Talking, laughing joking. Years down the line, in our old age I hope we will continue to do just that.
