37/100 – My borrowed saree series continues. This saree is not really borrowed but it is also not really mine. While talking about sarees with one of my aunts one day, we started talking about how exquisite the Dhaka cottons are. She said she had a saree from Bangladesh she never got around to wearing. And next thing I knew, she had the saree on her hand and she was saying “do you want it?” Who says no to a saree?

This is a beautiful Dhaka cotton, white with delicate zari lines and a brown border. I wore it today for the first time for the 6th day at ‪#‎kartiknach‬ performance at Patan Durbar Square.

Endnote: This saree took me a record 20 minutes to drape!
