I’ve christened this the Kaamya saree.

I went looking for a Mubagam on my trip to Chennai. A three paneled saree with the play of three colors, this is a style worn by dancers, I was told.

Not common any longer, imagine my surprise when I found ( only ) two Mubagam Sarees in Chennai. This one was love at first sight.

Thick, kancheevaram silk in vibrant hues to wish my friends and family on Diwali.

On why I call it the Kaamya saree, you will have to wait to hear about that.

For now, Ketav joins me in wishing everyone of you on the pact a very happy Diwali.
