The #100sareepact is not new to me, I have been ardently reading all the beautiful stories and going through all the post for a couple of months now. However, never garnered the courage to be a part of the same. The reason being that I know I won’t be able to make it to the 100 mark by the year end as these days mostly I am working from home with very less opportunity to go out and carry my six yards. But today i suddenly felt the need to at least try & start and even if I reach a double digit by the year-end, I would be more than happy. I remember when I was buying my wedding trousseau, most of the people I met during the period suggested that these days girls do not wear saree and hence I should buy more of suits and western’s in my collection as compared to the saree. But I being a saree lover to the core, bought as many sarees as I could, only later agreeing with those people that indeed I do not wear saree much. However, bygones are bygones and I enter the pact with this beautiful red saree from my trousseau i wore on the occassion of Teej yesterday.
