1. Now no one asks me “what special you are in saree!!??”
2. The thought that cladding ourselves in a saree is time consuming. In exactly 3 minutes now I am ready to start.
3. We need an occasion to wear a saree. Any day is special, Today is special!
4. Saree means matching ornaments. No not necessary! No makeup yet look great is possible only with saree.
5. Can run and catch a bus. Wow I really did it!
6. The perspective of people that women wearing saree to work spend most of the time in adjusting it, before the mirror. Nowadays I don’t event adjust it once in office and it stays in place till I change.
7. It is very tough to manage in crowd with a saree. Oops in fact it is easier than jeans or salwar as I was fanning myself with my pallu, the same way my granny used to do.
8. Every busy morning can give few minutes for ourselves if we challenge ourselves.
9. Wearing saree regularly has made me more organized as I plan during the weekend and prepare for the next week. That means no time wasted in searching for the matching leggin or matching duppatta 😉
10. If we think it is possible we can make it possible. We women are known for our will power, this pact makes it stronger easy or tough we try to do it with a smile.
Along with this I have posted a picture of me at a cultural celebration at office, I had to wear eastern India culture saree, tried some Bihari wedding style as I saw in google. Not sure how authentic it is. But I liked the excitement it could in me hence sharing with my fellow pact-ers.
