Happy International Yoga Day to all!
NAMASTE!
Nama means bow, as means I & te means you. So, NAMASTE literally means ” I bow to you.”
The gesture Namaste represents the belief that there is a divine spark within each of us that is located in the heart chakra. The gesture is an acknowledgement of the soul and the simplest, beautiful and quick form of meditation.
Namaste’s meaning is still recognised as one of peace, honour and respect.
Won’t it be nice to greet a person with a Namaste for a change instead of our usual HI & HUG??
Now moving to my saree story, during our road trip last May to Madurai happened to visit Nalli Silks, bought this simple cotton saree for just Rs. 500 but the cost of the blouse is more than that of the saree!
The joy of draping a saree doesn’t come with a price tag. If you have the flair, drape it people! Agree?
