3/100 Every saree has a story, sometimes its hers and sometimes its of the draper’s. Today’s is of the latter.
An ode to saree first. She is a bengali cotton saree I picked up at a Kolkata store during my visit to the City of Joy with Simi Choudhury (my lovely SIL). Both of us have similar saree choices and like the bland variants. I doubt we both have many blings in our wardrobes. So back to the saree…. She is a pleasant one and I found her ideal to wear at work in summers and I clubbed her with a printed blouse stitched at home (fitting was so pathetic that its pinned at every flawed area). However, I had to wear her and this was the only blouse I could think to match her with.

Now like I mentioned earlier… this time its my story. The story of me collating votes for a photo-contest I gave my daughter’s entry. I have been marketing votes like something I have never done before. Actually seeking votes from every corner. Not only me, my sister Pushpita has been awake many nights pursuing the same. And also my friends and family. With all the efforts, we smoothly reached 1000 but journey thereafter was difficult. The contest will end tomorrow and the game which was mine, will be someone else’s unless you all help me. My contender has already surpassed by many votes and the difference is nearing 100. Thus, I would need each of yours help to vote for my daughter. Its really simple…and is just a couple of clicks away.
