Well. .never ever realised that my love for Sarees n ”Sajna sawarna” would also fetch me an award… n specially at this Age n Stage of my life. .. I turned ”50”.. became a ”Saas”.. twice over \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
So. .many ladies ask me everyday. .Not…just at the LoomLeela event. .. even otherwise. ..
\n”How do you do it. . Too much effort. . Hum toh sochte reh jaate hain… kar hi nahin paate.”.
\n”How do you find time & motivation ?”. Specially. .at your age ? We are half your age, and can’t do it !!!!<\/p>\n
The answer is ..First n foremost. . It’s God’s Grace…He keeps it alive in me\/all of us. ..
\nSecondly, if you love, what you do. .it’s ”No Effort” at all.
\nIt’s Sheer Pleasure. ..which doesn’t tire one out . . It just enriches & energises one. . Gives meaning & direction to Life…<\/p>\n
My motto in Life has always been to ”Live Life to the Fullest while trying to be a good human being as much as possible” .. .
\nKhush rehna.. doosron ..ko jitna ho sake.. khush rakhna..
\nSabon ko shaamil karke chalna…
\nTry and see good points in all. ..
\nAccept, the other as is…
\nNo complaints. ..<\/p>\n
I thank God every day wholeheartedly…for everything. ..
\nI thank ”Him” for keeping the joy & enthusiasm alive in me. .
\nI thank ”Him” for All the opportunities\/obstacles he gave me. .. for. .everything :<\/p>\n
Even during.. the run up to the Marathon… I did exactly that. . And. .so. .I enjoyed every moment of it. . I loved dressing up in various styles. .<\/p>\n
Of course. . Had Fantastic support in Aditi B. Khandelwal..my bahu.. & Megha Khandelwal Mohan, my daughter..<\/p>\n
Support of. .hubby dear.. who would every day, ask me. .” Aaj..kya challenge tha… Picture dikhao” .
\nAt the event, he called me thrice… ” Bond Street Jeweller ki Presentation & Talk..ho gayi..ya..nahin.. Tum, nervous hui..toh..nahin.. ”<\/p>\n
Support of my wonderful in law’s. ..who would be. ..just so happy..to see me in A Saree..<\/p>\n
Support of my Mom..my mentor.. my role model….who would always tell me. . Even ..when I was 16…
\n”Tu Sarees hi pehna kar… tere upar Sarees..hi sabse jyaada acchi lagti hain ”.
\nImagine… When my mom is not feeling well, my dad shows her my Saree pics to lift her mood !!!!<\/p>\n
Support of my staff at home ( Sujata \ud83d\ude42 n the rest )<\/p>\n
Support of staff at work.. been hardly working. . plus they had to click my Saree Pics everyday at the store \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
We..women. . all of us. . took part in the Loomleela Marathon with a spirit of Joy & Total Participation We were motivating each other to do our best. Every day. .every challenge. ..<\/p>\n
So. .we..women….are All Winners.. in our own ways…. with our maddening hectic pace of life. . We still tried to do what Tripti Singh demanded of us \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Still…..I thank the Loomleela organisers for giving me this Award..
