This week seems to be a week of visiting the past. First, from the depths of my saree wardrobe came my pink tant from adhibash and now this. This rust-black block-printed bishnupuri silk takes me straight back to my teenage days. My newly wed cousin had brought over a huge collection of block-printed sarees from her new Mami-in-law’s boutiqueand everyone was busy grabbing their own. I do not quite remember how this one came to be mine (thining back it does sound very unusual though that a 13-14 year old landing up with the saree), Butwhat i do remember is how I would treasure this one, saving it for a really special occassion, so much so that this special occassion took 17 long years to come, in thwform of Day14 for sareepact.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
