We used to be glued to the black n white television watching Doordarshan n wham there Lisa Ray used to popup in Garden Vareli ad with all kinds of fabric flowing along her side. The prints were captivating and I used to think then, can I ever wear this\u2026for me it was like \u201caapli ipat nahi\u201d thing. And so when I rchd Mumbai to do Engineering, one of my friend said \u201cChal, Garden Vareli madhe jauya tithe sale asto\u201d, I was like ..is it really happening\u2026can I really buy anything there\u2026so off I was with her just for the experience\u2026in my mind emoting Lisa Ray\u2019s expressions when I actually feel the fabric\u2026after that garden fabrics were my favorite for college life as they never bled, wear n tear resistant and no need to iron sometimes\u2026.today\u2019s saree is one such pick from Garden vareli\u2026..the feel of the fabric and the colours n print is still captivating\u2026.as in that ad\u2026.nostalgic feeling!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
