\nStepping into the 40s with my favorite saree!
\nIt was to be a busy busy day with 2 important meetings and a movie date with family in the evening. Needed something that would look good and feel extremely light as well…chiffons wouldn’t do (not that I have many), silk it had to be. This is my go to saree for such occasions…never lets me down. Finally got the matching blouse done, so here I am, looking a little too coordinated? The necklace was a gift from Roopa, who was so thoughtful to get them all the way from Lagos, so that I could wear it with a saree! Blessed to have such friends!
\nNeedless to say, the meetings were very fruitful and the movie (Inside Out, kids’ recommendation) was very good too. Giving your emotions a face suddenly makes them so easy to relate with. Emotions like disgust and sadness, which we usually want to avoid talking about, suddenly become rather endearing. Well, apparently emotions have emotions too \ud83d\ude42
\nAll in all, an action packed, fun filled day with my lovely blue saree, which never lets me down \ud83d\ude42
