\nWhile it rained outside this morning when I was deciding what to wear, it rained kota at home once again.Today was a special day at college\u2026.we were celebrating the birthday of a very dear friend, Neeta Mehta\u2026and special saree to banta hei\u2026A white kota hand painted by this young girl (I forget her name) at an exhibition at Showcase Art Gallery, Powai\u2026.had walked in to the exhibition after my walk and instantly fell in love with this saree\u2026the saree has a lovely pink pallu with paintings of coconut palm, thatched roofs and boats reminding me of my roots in Kerala\u2026.I wear this saree very sparingly\u2026.mayb once in two or three years\u2026.it always looks new\u2026Am pairing it with a pink blouse with silver white stripes and a gota type border\u2026and earrings and a neckpiece I picked up from Westside a couple of years ago\u2026Cake-cutting and celebrating with friends in college is always fun\u2026lunch to celebrate the birthday is even more exciting
