\nHere’s my saree story, Story of a girl who worn saree in her life for not more than just 5 times, but she is a die hard fan of this super charismatic 6 yard attire ‘Saree’.
\nActually this year 2015 is my saree year and I made tons of #sareemoments. I did shopping for saree a lot (for my mom only, it is super thrilling & crazy always, when I stick on my picked saree and my mom on hers, at last we pick both, :). Then this year I also tried little bit to learn to drape the saree & that’s super tough task for me, I tried with all those sarees we (team mom & me) shopped and had loads of saree fun (but still not perfect in draping one, i will catch it up soon).
\nAt last my chance has came to wear saree (not for me, but for all) for sangeet ceremony of my bestiee Swati. So I choose one of my favorite of my mom’s, chosen by her only (actually I love that color of saree & the fabric too, cool chiffon…)
\nMy mom draped the saree so elegantly on me, I just love saree draping skills of her, I am big fan of her on this and I always wonder why I haven’t inherited those skills from her or maybe I have, time will tell this….
\nI was ready now in my mom’s saree to rock the show, but it was not that easy (hats off to you ladies who live their lives in saree daily & they truly rock the show #thelifeshow). I was bit uncomfortable in saree, thinking that I am not looking that good, but I did and I came to know this only when I saw the pictures of the function and I was super happy to get the most unexpected , pretty me in the saree….:D<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
