A cool, breezy and light chiffon …it was the first time I was introduced to the concept of digital prints on fabrics while roaming around Lajpat Nagar ….my favourite shopping destination in Delhi. This one got picked up on a whim and what appealed to me most was that the border and pallu had a story on it…a sad tale of sorrow , of pain, of destruction, of loss in a foreign land. Each time I’ve worn it I’ve found myself brooding over the pallu searching for reasons for the misery of the people …guessing where it could be…is that Champ Elysees …France?
