May 9th was an exciting day in Pandey household. Two of us were graduating. It was a important for another reason, we were to start another tradition.

\nMy parents are life long learner and I so wanted them to be here with me for that day. I know how proud they are and how exciting it would have been for them.
\nSo I decided to wear one of my mom’s saree. When I was in India last time she gave me some of her sarees she didn’t wear anymore. I wore this kosa silk to feel their presence that day.
\nIn the morning I was the only Indian woman in that crowd and I was the only one in Saree. This special Saree made the day even more special. A tradition to follow.. Going to school with your son and daughter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
