Although bought many years ago, this was worn recently to celebrate my grandfather’s 100th year and his achievements and work within the community, for which he was honoured.<\/p>\n
I was appointed to render a speech about my granddad and delivered it in my mother tongue Konkani, the first time I ever attempted such a thing and thankfully, it went well and was appreciated by all.
