This black crepe saree with ‘painterly’ flowers is one of these ‘aberrations’. One that my tailor loved so much that he reproduced the design on the blouse, hand-embroidered it. And then, refused to take a single rupee extra saying, “Itna ‘glamras’ saree didi aapne kharida man khush ho gaya!” <\/p>\n

My son seemed equally smitten by this saree and wanted me to wear it to a dinner invitation tonight. And he, wanted to be photographed with me as well. So, now, I have more reason to love this saree. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
