\u202a#\u200esareefrommypast\u202c. This saree had its own story behind its creation. Sitara sarees had caught my attention since long but I always wanted a new different look to it. While having a discussion session with dad & weavers this thought crossed my mind. Then I thought a sitara saree with Ganga Yamuna body & with Geecha threads too incorporated will be the perfect fusion. We bengalis tend to drape a red white saree for our Ashtami day puja during Durga Puja. Hence keeping in mind the ocassion; the saree was created. This is one of my favourite saree among the many such weaves that I possess. Simply love its light weather texture & its feel. Glad Anju Maudgal Kadam & Ally Matthan that through your pact we women are able to relive through many such memories of ours.
