Day 7. This south cotton in my favourite colour is a gift from my sister-in-law Sarmistha Sarcar’s mother, whom I call Kakima. She got two similar saris for both of us on a trip to Bangalore a couple of years ago. My sister-in-law’s is green and red. I have teamed mine with a blue khand piece.
